Tanya Ransom was not born with a guitar slung over her back. With leather boots and a tenacious heart, she tore up the soccer field with her sights set on playing for Australia. That was until she chose to set sail for the remote town of Broome W.A.

Encapsulated and enchanted upon the banks of this beautiful pearling town, Tanya was handed a pindan stained guitar and at the age of 19, began her journey as Broome's signature songstress.
