Sam McGovern, a 22 year old singer songwriter and guitarist from Perth Western Australia was born and raised by a strong combination of music and the ocean. From a young age Sam had either a guitar in hand or a surfboard under his arm, these two hobbies therefore became second nature to him. 

Sam approaches songwriting as a way of expressing feelings that come unspoken in his life, when words fail, music speaks. His stories are told through heartfelt and honest lyrics that unravel a deeper meaning.

Bursting into the Perth music scene, Sam has been playing and selling out shows all over the State attracting huge audiences. He has supported the likes of Riley Pearce, Jordy Maxwell, The Money War and played alongside many other well known acts.
