“My name is Gus McKay...I am a professional musician from Australia. I've done many other things in my life, but mostly I have been on the land… Farming and now mining.

My first foray into the recording business was 1997. Since then I have released five , full length cd's and one vinyl/cd edition , on "Talisman" my fifth release. My latest unreleased album, is called "Sixth Wind". This is my first recording overseas, and recorded in the UK Nov 2019. And is being released, May 2021.”

Gus plays a number of different instruments. Guitar, blues harmonica, Tenor and Alto Sax, flute, pedal steel guitar, mandolin and banjo.
